Bio: I am an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the San Francisco State University (SFSU), joined August 2017. I received my Ph.D degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Connecticut (UConn) in July 2017 under the supervision of Prof. John Chandy. I obtained my MS degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University (formerly National University of Iran) in 2013, and my bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware Engineering from Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, Iran, in 2011. In 2017, I received Best Technical Paper Award in 30th International Conference on VLSI Design (VLSID). My research interests include Hardware-Intrinsic Security, Machine Learning in Hardware Security Enhancement, Internet-of Things (IoT) & CPS Security, and Embedded System Design Security. I am serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine (ICEM). My goal is to recruit more female to the School of Engineering at SF State as I am currently member of Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) group of College of Science and Engineering (COSE) at SF State.
